KVG proudly presents new small sized high performance SMD OCXOs with dimensions of 25 mm x 22 mm x 15 mm only providing performance as known from much bigger cases previously. Based on new R&D OCXO approaches and the usage of new phase noise-optimized SC-cut crystals the KVG engineers succeeded to improve the electrical and thermical design of their OCXOs in order to create new high performance OCXO products what extend the possible applications of these small SMD parts.
By the usage of self-manufactured noise-optimized 3rd and 5th overtone SC-cut crystals and noise-minimized electronic circuits KVG’s engineers succeeded in designing new RF OCXOs that provide very low phase noise extending the range of applications for these kind of small packages.
KVG Quartz Crystal Technology GmbH presents new designs for high stable OCXOs in standard cases 36 x 27 mm (CO-08), 25 x 25 mm (through-hole) and 25 x 22 mm (SMD) which meet the frequency stability requirements according to the ANSI Stratum 3E standard. Based on the latest OCXO developments KVG has now developed new high stable solutions by means of improved designs and by using SC-cut crystals which will considerably enlarge the applications of OCXOs. SMD TCXOs fulfill holdover stability requirements of Stratum 3 specifications The new VCXO/TCXO TO-900 series in the small 14x9 mm SMD package fulfills also the holdover stability requirements according to ANSI clock specifications Stratum 3 Telcordia (Bellcore) 1244-CORE, i.e. frequency dependency from temperature is smaller than +/- 0.28 ppm , required 24 hours holdover stability is better than +/- 0.32 ppm. Overall stability including 20 years aging is better than +/- 4.6 ppm.
V-810: provides one of two selectable output frequencies up to 700 MHz KVG Quartz Crystal Technology GmbH presents a new series of high frequency SMD VCXOs with one of two selectable output frequencies for high speed telecommunication nets like SDH/SONET, ATM, Gigabit Ethernet or Fibre Channel. The “dual frequency” V-810 is available up to 700 MHz and can be switched to a second output frequency by means of a “frequency select” input. This second frequency is needed for FEC bit rates with additional frequency correction i.e. for example 622.080 MHz and 669.32658 MHz in one oscillator case! >> read the complete press release...
